The German automaker has decided to take part in the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this November, announcing the decision with some mysterious images and no info.
The complete picture will be available at the 2016 SEMA Show from November 1-4 – but for now we have to contend to discussing these shaded shots. There’s a modified 3 Series with the dark image only allowing us to see the M division’s trademark stripes down the shoulder line and a good-sized wing at the back. The car also seems to pack an aggressive front end with larger intakes than on the regular model. The sedan might recall in a modern way of vintage BMWs, but for now that’s just our educated guess.
On the other hand, the 7 Series is even more mysterious – as there’s not much anyone can see. As far as we can see there aren’t major differences to the regular executive sedan – aside from chunky aftermarket wheels. There might be styling differences or even cabin enhancements these shots don’t show – because the SEMA venue is always about the most over the top alterations possible. In other pictures we get to see other perks BMW has prepared: an M Performance exhaust and carbon fiber diffuser, a subtle carbon fiber trunk lip spoiler or even some lightweight woven material that can be used when the division replaces the center console materials.
