The facelifted version of the BMW 5-Series was recently launched in Malaysia, where the model is now available as the 520i, the 520d and the 528i.
BMW says that the facelifted 520d is coming with a Piano Black interior trim, with the two-zone air conditioning, a leather wrapped steering wheel and the iDrive Touch navigation system, while riding on 17-inch W-spoke alloy wheels. The 520i on the other hand is adding the four-zone air conditioning system, the comfort access feature which is basically a keyless entry, a sports steering wheel with paddle shifters and some other tweaks.
The BMW 528i M Sport is gaining the obvious M Sport package, which includes the M double spoke design for the 18-inch alloy wheels, the M sports steering wheel with paddle shifters, black headliner, aluminum trim and more. The model is also getting the 4-zone air conditioning, the head-up display, comfort access, Harman Kardon sound system and others. The exterior colors available for the upgraded 5-Series include the Jatoba, Sophisto Grey, Alpine White, Black Sapphire and Glacier Silver. Prices for the 520i start at RM368,800, for the 520d at RM354,800 and for the 528i M Sport at RM419,800.
