The BMW i3 has been recently priced in the United States, where the cheapest version of the model is now available for order from 41,350 USD.
BMW has recently announced the official price list, in the United States, for the new i3, the company’s smallest “green” vehicle, which is now available for order from 41,350 USD. The price stands for the regular i3, while the one equipped with the Range Extender (REX) can be yours from 45,200 USD, before the 7,500 federal incentive. According to the car manufacturer, the i3 can receive, besides the long list of standard items, some new wheels, like the i Light Alloy Double Spoke 20-inch form 1,300 USD, the 19-inch i Light Alloy Turbine, for 1,700 USD, or the 19-inch Light Alloy Turbine from 2,700 USD.
The BMW i3 is taking its power from an electric motor, which is generating 170 HP (125 kW) and it has a peak torque of 250 Nm (184 lb-ft). The driving range of the car can be extended with the 650 cc two-cylinder petrol engine, which is offering an extra 34 HP. The unit is mated to a single-speed transmission, which is sending power to the rear-wheel drive.
