BMW has released a new video in which the technologies of the i8 hybrid sports car are being highlighted.
The BMW i8 is popping into our news once again, after being officially unveiled back in 2013 and making its way into a lot of automotive events, this time with the help of a new video, which has been released by the German based automaker. As you probably already know, the BMW i8 is powered by a 1.5 liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine, with 228 HP (170 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, backed up by a hybrid synchronous motor, with 129 HP (96 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. The assembly is producing a total of 357 HP (266 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque and the total range of the car, in Eco Pro mode, is 600 km (370 miles). The 1,500 kg weighing vehicle is 4,700 mm long, 1,940 mm wide and 1,300 mm tall.
