BMW introduces SEMA lineup of M Performance accessories image

The German automaker has thoroughly prepared for the SEMA Las Vegas show November 1-4, with an entire family of M Performance parts that can be used for the company’s roster.

The automaker offered a preview of the parts last week and is now back with the full details. Among the M Performance goodies we also see a highlight – the new rear wing for the M3 Sedan which is entirely made out of carbon fiber. It comes in the traditional M colors and “M Performance” lettering and is only available for the M3 Sedan starting somewhere in the middle of next year. The M3 and the M4 also have a carbon fiber engine cover and a coilover suspension that gets the ride down by 5 to 20 millimeters (0.2 to 0.8 inches) thanks to an adjustable spring rate. Also new in the catalogue are the new set of lightweight wheels of 19 inches at the front axle and 20 inches at the back.

BMW said the wheels come from the company’s motorsport program and can be specified for the M2, M3, and M4 in summer 2017 – wearing a black matte finish and completed with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. BMW also unveiled a host of accessories for the US-spec M models, as well as their less performance-oriented versions or even the flagship 7 Series. There are goodies for every taste – from new alloy wheel designs to exhaust systems and carbon and Alcantara elements inside.
