BMW has quietly introduced yet another special version of the 3-Series, the 320d xDrive Touring 40 Years Edition.
The newest model to be signed by the Bavarian based automaker is called the BMW 320d xDrive Touring 40 Years Edition and this is bringing a few special changes which should be making it quite popular with its future buyers. If you believe that the company has officially released these details and images, think again, because the introduction of the car has been quietly made and these have been signed by the guys from BimmerToday.
The brand new BMW 320d xDrive Touring 40 Years Edition is going to become available exclusively in Japan and Italy. The model will be limited to just 100 units and it is showing us an evolution of the 3-Series since the launch of the first model, shown back in 1975 with its two-door sedan body style, a petrol engine under its hood and rear wheel drive, while the new one has a estate body style, four-wheel drive and a diesel engine.
All units of the above mentioned vehicle are bringing the M Sport package, the 19-inch alloy wheels, better brakes, piano black accents in the cabin, a sports steering wheel and several other goodies. The model is also coming with sporty bumpers and the Tanzanite blue metallic body finish. Under its hood we can notice a 2.0 liter diesel unit, producing 190 HP (140 kW), connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission, powering the AWD.
