BMW has recently released the first teaser image with the Zagato Roadster, ahead of the model’s official presentation over the coming weekend, at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
BMW and Zagato working together isn’t such a big surprise for anyone, especially after the two companies have pulled the wraps off the BMW Zagato Coupe at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, but now there is a new version of the concept car mentioned above, which will be named the BMW Zagato Roadster and will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this weekend.
Just like its brother, the BMW Zagato Roadster will come as a concept car and it will be based on the second generation of the BMW Z4, drawn by Zagato. Even if the model has been officially announced for Pebble Beach and it was also teased, the two companies didn’t reveal any details on it and we don’t even know if the hard top will be replaced by a two-tone soft top. Besides the new BMW Zagato Roadster, the carmaker is also bringing the 2013 7-Series, the Alpina B7 and the 6-Series Gran Coupe at the same Pebble Beach event, along with some classic vehicles.
