The German based automaker BMW has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the M135i, which will hit the European showrooms quite soon.
After revealing the new generation of the BMW 3-Series Touring, the car manufacturer has brought yet another model into the spotlights, the production version of the M135i, which is expected to hit the European Showrooms very soon. According to the company, the BMW M135i is actually a 1-Series three-door hatchback which is coming with an M Performance chassis with sports suspension, brake systems and steering, along with a new engine for the model, equipped with the M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology.
BMW says that the M135i is coming with a new front bumper, a redesigned rear bumper with an integrated diffuser, a bespoke interior trim, sports seats, silver mirror caps and 18-inch alloy wheels. Under the hood, the M135i is powered by a 3.0 liter straight six engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology, which is developing a total output of 320 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and it has a peak torque of 332 lb-ft available between 1,300 and 4,500 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission in standard, which is allowing a 0 to 62 mph acceleration of 5.1 seconds, or 4.9 seconds with the automatic.
