Another rendering with the brand new BMW M2 Cabrio is ending up on the web, revealing the appealing lines of what may become a future M car.
It seems that not a day can go by without us mentioning the new BMW M2 Coupe, but rather than talking about the two-door high-performance compact car, time has come to check out how the M2 Cabrio may look like, that is if the Bavarian based automaker will decide to give it a go. The image posted above is nothing more than a simple rendering at this point, signed by X-Tomi Design, but we bet that it will end up as a background image on a lot of devices.
It’s not certain at this point whether BMW will decide to offer a convertible version of the new M2 Coupe, especially since its direct predecessor, the 1M Coupe, was only offered with a fixed roof. However, if this will come out, it will top the M2 Coupe in terms of pricing and it will become the most expensive version of the 2-Series Coupe. It will come with the same exterior design, with the same cabin looks and the same chassis and suspension setups. However, because of the chopped roof, expect a slightly weight gain. The 3.0l six-cylinder inline TwinPower Turbo engine will still be found under its hood, in the same configuration, 370 HP and 465 Nm of torque, connected to a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed M DCT gearbox.
