Alpha-N Performance has released the first previews with its future tuning program for the new BMW M2 Coupe.
Just a day ago we have been telling you about the very first tuning program for the BMW M2 Coupe, signed by Hamann, and now the high-performance two-door coupe compact car is returning to our attention once again, this time with the aftermarket specialists from Alpha-N Performance announcing their very own upgrades.
The model in question will be coming with as much weight cut as possible, as the tuner is saying, as a carbon fiber roof will be added and a Clubsport version is planned, with a roll cage (half or full), lightweight racing seats and lightweight 19-inch OZ Superforgiata wheels, wrapped in 245/35 and 365/35 front to rear tires. The vehicle will also bring a more aerodynamic body kit, made from carbon fiber, with a four-position adjustable rear wing. An adjustable coilover suspension system will be added to it as well.
Modifications will not stop here as Alpha-N Performance is also planning a power boost for the M2. The 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine is going to produce as much as 480 PS (353 kW) from the standard 370 PS (272 kW), thanks to the water injection system and the chip=tuning box. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint will be significantly improved thanks to these modifications and the speed limiter will be removed. No pricing details for these upgrades have been made public at this point.
