Another prototype of the upcoming BMW M2 has been spotted in Germany and this has dropped some of its camo compared to previous versions.
The BMW M2 is ahead of an imminent reveal as rumor has it that we will see it, online for now, on October 14. But before we can actually talk about its exterior design, its aerodynamics, interior changes, chassis modifications, upgraded suspension and brakes and the more powerful engine found under its hood, we have to tell you about the most recent prototype, which has been caught on camera recently.
The model in question has been spotted in Germany, with its bright shade of blue covering its body and the light camouflage applied to some parts of the front and rear bumpers, to the upper part of the doors, fenders and quarter panels and to the side skirts. Expect minor modifications on these wrapped parts compared to the current range-topping variant of the 2-Series Coupe, along with some tweaks made to the cabin and the addition of the M badge.
Rumor has it that some of the goodies found on the compact two-door performance vehicle will include the Internet access, the Harman Kardon audio system, the rearview camera, the power heated front seats, adaptive headlights and others. Under the hood, a 3.0 liter turbo unit, with six cylinders, will be found, capable of putting down 370 HP and about 500 Nm of torque with overboost. From 0 to 100 km/h the model should need less than 4.5s and top speed will be electronically limited to 250 km/h.
