A couple of new renderings with the BMW M2 are providing us with a first look into the upcoming performance coupe.
The German based automaker BMW is known to have start the development of an M2 but before the company will start testing the new model and eventually pull the wraps off its body, renderings are providing us with a first look into it. The two images posted below represent Theophilus Chin’s vision on the upcoming performance coupe and we must admit that our source has did a pretty good job in envisioning the new model, with its aggressive body style.
BMW is said to add a body kit to the M2 inspired by the M235i Racing, with more aggressive side skirts, with air diffuser, fender flares, hood bulge, trunk mounted spoiler and with a quad exhaust arrangement. The cabin of the model will be coming with bucket seats, a sport steering wheel and some carbon fiber trim while the power is expected to come by the 3.0 liter straight six-cylinder engine, the same one from the M3, M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible, which will produce here between 380 HP (279 kW) and 400 HP (294 kW), mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
