BMW has recently pulled the wraps off the M3 and M4 Coupe in Montreal, during the automotive event, in a local premiere.
After being introduced during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, just a week ago, the new generations of the M3 and M4 Coupe have been introduced to Canada too, during the 2014 Montreal Auto Show. The new BMW M3 and M4 Coupe will become available to their future owners in the following shades: Silverstone, Yas Marina, Black Sapphire, Mineral Grey, Mineral White, Alpine White, Austin Yellow or Sakhir Orange.
The two models will both be taking their power from a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo unit, with six cylinders inline. The total output produced by the engine stands at 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which is allowing the two vehicles to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds. Top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) but it can go up to 280 km/h (174 mph) with the optional M Driver’s Package.
