The new generation of the BMW M3, along with its two-door M4 Coupe brother, will be officially unveiled, in a premiere, on the 12th of December.
The 2015 BMW M3 and the 2015 BMW M4 Coupe will be officially unveiled, for the first time, on the 12th of September, once the new Gran Turismo 6 will go on sale. This will be a simple strategy so that owners of the new PlayStation game will not get the chance of seeing how the new M3 and M4 will look like before their potential buyers. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet and it might be made over the following days, but, then again, BMW could also take us by surprise.
The brand new BMW M3, along with its two-door coupe M4 brother, will be powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged engine, which will produce a total output of 430 HP and it will have a peak torque of 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is expected to be made faster than the one of the outgoing M3 generation, mostly because the new car will weigh less than 1,500 kg (3,300 lbs). More details on the two models are currently limited for the moment.
