BMW M3 F80 gets previewed by CAR Magazine
CAR Magazine has released a preview of the next generation BMW M3 in its latest issue and the model posted above is expected to be a concept version which will be unveiled in Geneva.
The new generation of the BMW M3 has been long awaited by the model’s fans and after it was spied on the road, with a lot of camouflage on its body, while being tested, the powerful vehicle is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of CAR Magazine, which is previewing it in its latest issue. The concept version of the BMW M3 F80 will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and the production variant will hit the market later on this year.
According to CAR Magazine, the BMW M3 F80 will get a straight six-cylinder turbo engine under its hood, which should produce a total output of 444 HP (331 kW), mated to a six-speed manual transmission or to an M-DCT dual clutch with eight gears. The total weight of the model will stand at less than 1,500 kg and theM3 F80 will get a CFRP roof, optional ceramic brakes, aluminum body panels and more. Additional details on the model are expected to be announced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March.
