If you thought that the new generation of the BMW M3 is one discreet ride, think again, because the model in question has been fitted by the company with no less than 67 visible M badges. These also include the ones on the engine undertray, on the exhaust shielding, on the underbody sound deadening material, on the front suspension, on the multiple links of the rear suspension, on each wheel, on the brake calipers, on the body, on the radiator, plastic engine cover, headlight brackets, front door sills, steering wheel, shift knob, footrest, backrests, cluster display and so on.
This is quite a lot and they have been discovered by Car and Driver, on their long-term BMW M3. The new performance sedan has been introduced last year and it is offered in a single body style, as the coupe and convertible have been renamed the M4. All three vehicles are packing the same 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbo engine, with 431 HP and 550 Nm of torque. The unit is connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission or a 6-speed manual. From 0 to 100 km/h, the RWD car needs 4.2 seconds.
