The first rendering with what may become a new body style of the brand new BMW M3, the M3 Touring, has recently hit the web, and it might be offering us a first preview into the model.
The new generation of the BMW M3, along with its two-door solid roof brother, the M4 Coupe, has been officially unveiled almost two years after the regular 3-Series sedan has hit the market and the model should be worth the wait. But we’re not here to judge it or talk about it and we should tell you that the image posted above, representing an M3 Touring, based on the new generation, is actually a rendering.
We’re not sure if BMW will introduce such a body style of the new M3 generation but considering the fact that the competition has such a model, the C63 AMG Touring and the Audi RS4 Avant, we should probably see it in dealerships close to our homes in the nearby future. The model in question should receive the same 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo inline-six engine from the M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, which is producing a total output of 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft), mated to the optional seven-speed M DCT.
