The German aftermarket specialists at Manhart have recently revealed their latest creation, a BMW M3 with 740 HP, with the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport.
Besides packing an impressive output from its new engine, the BMW M3 modified by Manhart is also coming with an aggressive new carbon fiber body kit. As you can see from the images posted below, the body kit comes with a hood, front lower spoiler, side skirts, wheel arch extensions, luggage lid, a rear diffuser, an adjustable rear wing, side mirrors wrapped in carbon fiber and the model is now sitting on large lightweight Concave On Black Edition rims in size 9×20 up front and 12×20 inches in the rear, wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 5 high performance tires.
The German tuner is saying that, in order to get the impressive output out of the BMW M3 E92, the stock 4.0 liter V8 engine had to be replaced for the larger 4.4 liter V8 unit, which is mostly known from the X5 and X6 crossovers. According to Manhart, an upgraded set of turbos, a bigger intercooler and full titanium exhaust have been added to the engine, along with reinforced pistons and some other tweaks, which helped the power increase to an awesome 740 HP and 671 lb-ft. The 0 to 62 mph acceleration time is now done in 3.2 seconds and the top speed passes 217 mph.
