BMW has recently announced the official starting price of the recently unveiled M4 Convertible in the United States, which will be set from 73,425 USD.
After being officially unveiled just a few days ago, the brand new BMW M4 Convertible is being highlighted once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its official starting price in the United States. According to the company, the cheapest version of the powerful two-door drop-top will set you back for 73,425 USD, once it will go on sale across the United States, this summer. Its starting price basically means that the new M4 Cabrio will be 8,300 USD more than its solid roof brother.
The BMW M4 Convertible is taking its power from the same 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, which is found on the new M3 Sedan generation and on the M4 Coupe too. The unit in question is producing a total output of 425 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. This is translated into a 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint made in 4.4 seconds with the 6-speed manual transmission and in 4.2 seconds with the seven-speed M Double Clutch. Top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The M4 Convertible will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 New York Auto Show.
