BMW will be introducing its new M4 Convertible at the 2014 New York Auto Show next month, in a world premiere.
Along with the brand new X4 and the Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe, BMW will also present the brand new M4 Convertible at the 2014 New York Auto Show, in a premiere. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet, but according to a recent report made by Bimmertoday, the vehicle in question will be introduced at the over-seas automotive event in the Big Apple.
The brand new BMW M4 Coupe will be a replacement for the previous M3 Convertible and it will be based on the M4 Coupe. The model in question will receive an aggressive exterior design, a retractable hardtop, some carbon fiber components and 18-inch alloy wheels, to complete the looks. Power will be provided by the same engine found on the new M4 Coupe and on the M3 Sedan too, the 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 431 HP (317 kW) and it has a peak torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft). The Coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds but we have no performance figures available yet on the M4 Cabrio.
