The new BMW M4 Coupe will be faster than the upcoming M3 generation and the model is expected to be introduced in late 2014.
The BMW M4 Coupe, which is the new name for the M3 Coupe, is ending up in our news once again, this time with some rumors which are saying that the model will be faster than the M3. The weight target of the M4 will be the E46 M3 and, even if the total output produced by the vehicle will be the same as the M3, the model will generate an extra 100 lb-ft of torque. This, along with other technologies, will help the M4’s performance.
Rumors are saying that the BMW M4 Coupe will get an inline six-cylinder multi-turbo engine under its hood, which should come with a 3.2 liter displacement. The unit will be influenced by the previous 4.0 liter V8 and it will also be used on the new BMW M3. The total output produced by the 3.2 liter engine will stand at 444 HP, but this should increase up to 473 HP with the Performance Package, which will also allow the model to reach a top speed of 300 km/h. The BMW M4 Coupe will be introduced in late 2014, while the new M3 will arrive in showrooms in late 2013 or early 2014. The concept versions of the two models will debut earlier.
