A couple of renderings with the so-called BMWM4 Gran Coupe have recently hit the web and we must admit that the four-door coupe looks quite appealing.
The German based automaker BMW might be developing a new addition to the M range, the M4 Gran Coupe. There has been no official information on this subject but don’t act too surprised if you will see it in an international automotive event in the nearby future. The two images posted below represent renderings of the model and this may turn out to be even more popular than the new M3.
If it will indeed hit the market, than the BMW M4 Gran Coupe will be sharing the same platform with its two door brother, the M4 Coupe. The wheelbase may be stretched to provide additional legroom, but the interior design is believed to be exactly the same. The most important part of the model, its engine, will be the 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder, which is also used on the M3 Sedan and the M4 Coupe and it will also be used on the upcoming M4 Cabrio. The unit is rated at 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque.
