The German based automaker BMW is planning to unveil yet another version of the new M4 Coupe, the so-called M4 Race Car, which will hit the market in December, this year.
The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but rumors are saying that the new BMW M4 Race Car will make its way onto the market by the end of the year. The model in question will actually be a race car and not just a first edition of the popular coupe which will be homologated to compete in the European FIA events and in the 2014 TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.
The new BMW M4 Race Car will stand out from a crowd thanks to an aggressive body kit and also to a stripped out interior which will probably include a racing seat with a racing harness, a roll cage and several other features. As for the engine which will be found under its hood, the M4 Race Car will get an upgraded version of the 3.0 liter six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo, which is believed to get more than 500 Nm of torque (368 lb-ft). The price for this racer will stand at approximately 65,000 EUR.
