The first leaked images with the new BMW M5 30th Anniversary Edition have ended up onto the web, ahead of the model’s debut which will take place later on this year.
BMW is planning a special 30th anniversary of the M5 which will be introduced later this year but it seems that the model in question will not be a surprise because a few images with it are showing some parts of its exterior design and not only. The new BMW M5 30th Anniversary Edition will get a Frozen Dark Silver Metallic exterior finish with some dark chrome accents and the 20-inch alloy wheels are finished in a jet black shade.
Changes made to the cabin are limited and they include the Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, the Alcantara and Merino leather seats, the dark aluminum trim, the 30th anniversary badging on the dashboard and seats and some other small tweaks. The model will also get the Competition package which is adding the revised M Dynamic mode, the sportier suspension or the chrome tailpipes. The 4.4 liter V8 engine will be producing 40 HP (29 kW) and 20 Nm (14 lb-ft) more than the standard car to a total of 600 HP (441 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The unit will be connected to a 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission.
