G Power has recently unveiled the 100th BMW M5 fitted with the bi-compressor power kit, which is adding even more power to the German vehicle.
The BMW M5 E60 isn’t dead, even if the new generation of the model has hit the market for quite some time yet, and in order to prove that the E60 is still a king in some fields, the aftermarket specialists at G Power have decided to upgrade the German car. We are talking about G Power so forget huge wheels, big bumpers and large spoilers, because the M5 in question is coming with a ridiculously impressive power upgrade which is allowing the V10 to develop a total output of 830 horsepower.
We won’t even dare to ask how much fuel does the E60 burn in an average or not so average cycle or what the total price of the upgrade is, but it seems that the model’s acceleration is just as impressive as its output figure. But first is first and let’s talk about the V10 engine, which has been fitted with two superchargers and the bi-compressor power kit, the result being 830 HP and 780 Nm(575 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to100 km/h acceleration takes 4.3 seconds, the 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) sprint is being done in 9.1 seconds and the model can accelerate from a standstill to 300 km/h (184 mph) in 25.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 372 km/h (231 mph).
