The first images with the facelifted version of the BMW M5 have recently made their way onto the web and they are offering us a first look into the updated model.
The 2014 BMW M5 has been already spotted while being tested in several parts of the world but nobody hoped for such a big photo gallery to make its way onto the web, revealing the model from just about every angle. The updated BMW M5 has a new front grille with larger vertical slats, similar to the one used on the M6, and some other tweaks, while the cabin has received a new touch-sensitive iDrive controller along with a slimmer steering wheel.
The “new” BMW M5 facelift is expected to be powered by the same 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which will still produce a total output of 560 HP (412 kW) and it will have a peak torque of 680 Nm (502 lb-ft). With the optional Competition Package, the M5 will come with 575 HP (423 kW), with a revised M Dynamic Mode, with 20-inch alloy wheels and with a sportier suspension. The updated M5 will go on sale later on this year. Its price will start from 103,300 EUR.
