BMW will be officially pulling the wraps off the M6 Competition Package at the upcoming in less than a couple of weeks.
With the 2015th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show coming in pretty fast, most carmakers are getting ready for the event and BMW is making no exception from this rule. The German based automaker will be officially pulling the wraps off the new M6 Competition Package during the event, as it has recently announced.
According to the car company, the model in question will actually be based on the M6 Coupe and this has been described on being a “more individual version” of the high-performance coupe. BMW was not really too eager on providing all the necessary details on its newest creation up to date, but we are expecting some special finishes for its exterior design, the carbon fiber reinforced plastic used on some components and several other goodies which should be putting enough space between the standard M6 Coupe and this one.
The interior design of the vehicle will not be left aside either as BMW is planning some exclusive leather upholstery, contrast stitching and so on. The BMW M6 Competition Package is equipped, obviously, with the Competition Package. It has a 4.4 liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine under its hood, capable of putting down a total of 600 HP (441 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. With the optional M Driver’s Package, the vehicle can reach a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph).
