The German based automaker BMW has recently announced its plans to introduce a special M model during this year’s edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
After officially pulling the wraps off the new M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, the German based automaker BMW is currently getting ready to introduce a special anniversary edition M model during the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model in question has been officially announced by the company which declined to go into details. One thing is for sure, the special M model will be shown along the M3 and M4 and also along the i8, which will tackle the famous hill climb.
Before the 2014th edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed will kick in, BMW will be officially presenting to the public another M model, the M4 Convertible. This vehicle will be heading towards the 2014 New York Auto Show and it will be coming with the same 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, which is found on the M3 and M4 Coupe. The unit will still produce 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. This will allow it a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in approximately 4 seconds.
