BMW is preparing to launch at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show a 354 hp three-turbo six cylinders in-line diesel engine!
With such power, the Bavarian automaker wants to compete against some V8’s from Mercedes or Audi.
For the moment there are not very much information’s. However, we know that the new engine should be equipped with 3 sequential turbochargers: the result would be 354 hp with maximum torque over 700 Nm.

The first cars to be fitted should be the BMW X5 and X6 - “xDrive 45d. The new engine will be also available on the 7 Series and 5 Series.

That doesn't even look like a diesel engine! Sounds awesome and strange that a diesel engine can get that kind of power. But for one thing, we do know that it won't be coming to the US. We still haven't accepted diesel technologies because when we think about diesel, a smelly gas hogging semi truck comes into mind.

I'm so glad Chrysler brought back the Dodge Charger!!!….cuz I was a huge fan and still am of the 80's TV series "The Dukes of Hazard" as Bo and Luke Duke drove a Dodge Charger they named "The General Lee". This show was my favorite cuz it didn't have any niggers, chinks, gooks, japs, or any other kind of colored folks in it. I wish Dodge would make a special edition Charger and call it the Dodge Charger KKK Special Edition with it all WHITE and with KKK badges and striping!!!

nice, i bet that little turbo on the top spools up fast as shit. hey im American and i only drive German and Japanese cars, most American cars are shit! its pretty arrogant to think all Americans are the same, its the rich and powerful people that control the oil who want cars to get 10 mpg. they make the rest of us look bad. and actually i think the British have polluted more than anyone else since they spilled all of their oil in the gulf, those cunts! btw white trash, i have a 9 inch pecker (22.9 cm). but hey whatever helps you sleep at night limp dick. hahaha, sweet little engine though, it would be nice in my 325i.
