On July 4th BMW Welt welcomed its 10, 000, 000th guest, since it was opened on October 20th 2007.
The visitor, by his name Patrick Zanker, was welcomed by Thomas Muderlak, head of the BMW Welt and BMW brand ambassador, His Royal Highness the Prince of Bavaria. The lucky guest also received a special gift: for ten weeks he will enjoy BMW’s characteristic ‘sheer driving pleasure‘ in a BMW Z4.
“Ten million enthusiastic BMW fans in just under five years certainly confirms that our varied programme and our building’s fascinating architecture make the BMW Welt a place for extraordinary experiences. Over the coming years, we will continue to do everything in our power to offer a one-of-a-kind brand experience for young and old alike,” sums up Thomas Muderlak.
The BMW Welt receives visitors from all over the world, but the largest number of international visitors comes from the US (13%), followed by the UK (8%). Of course the largest number of guests come from Germany (59%), with 37% coming from Bavaria. A company’s study shows that more than 4,000,000 people visited BMW Welt more than once.
