BMW has recently announced that the facelifted X1 has been launched in the United Kingdom, where the entry-level version has a starting price of 24, 660 GBP.
According to the German based automaker, the BMW X1 facelift is available in the United Kingdom in six versions and the entry-level sDrive18d in the SE trim has a strating price of 24,660 pounds, but the price can go up to 32,860 for the top of the line xDrive25d. BMW says that the range topping X1 xDrive25d facelift is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which is developing a total output of 215 BHP and it has a peak torque of 332 lb-ft, which is allowing the mode to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds while emitting 145 g/km of CO2 and returning an average of 51.4 mph.
The BMW X1 xDrive25d is actually a replacement for the xDrive23d and other engines available for the facelifted small crossover include the 2.0 liter turbo diesel with 141 BHP on the sDrive18d and xDrive18 and the 2.0 liter four-cylinder unit with 181 BHP available on the sDrive20d and xDrive20d. The redesigned X1 is getting a new center console with improved surface materials along with some changes to the front and rear bumpers and redesigned taillights. The BMW X1 facelift will be available for order in July, in the UK.
