Our spy photographers have managed to capture the 2015 BMW X1 on camera while being tested in Northern Europe, in a cold climate.
The new generation of the BMW X1 is getting ready to hit the market, but until that will happen, the car manufacturer has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should. The 2015 BMW X1 pictured below is wearing a heavy camouflage on its body but it appears to have an evolutionary design, with a sloping roof line, with some plastic body cladding, with a tailgate mounted spoiler and a dual exhaust system, amongst others.
The 2015 BMW X1 also appears to be larger than its predecessor so expect an additional room inside the cabin, along with some new technologies. The engine lineup is believed to be shared with the 2-Series Active Tourer, so expect the 1.5 liter three-cylinder with its 136 HP, the 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo with 184 HP and 231 HP and the 2.0 liter four-cylinder diesel, producing 150 HP and 184 HP. The new BMW X1 generation will ride on the UKL platform, which underpins the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer and the MINI Cooper.
