BMW X4 Concept might debut in Detroit
BMW might bring the concept version of the X4 at the upcoming 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
The BMW X4 has started its public life a few months ago as a simple rumor and now another rumor is placing it into the spotlights once more, this time by saying that the concept version of the model will make its public debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show in January. The BMW X4 will be unveiled in a concept version a couple of months from now and it’s expected to carry over the success of the X6 on a smaller scale.
The BMW X4 will be based on the same platform of the X3, just like the X6 is based on the X5, and the model will also carry over the same engine lineup as the X3. The BMW X4 will get four doors and it will be able to carry four passengers. The model will be aimed towards younger buyers who are looking a sportier crossover so its off-road abilities are expected to be limited. The BMW X4 will go on sale probably at the end of 2013 and it will battle the Range Rover Evoque and the Porsche Macan.
