The German based automaker BMW has recently released new images with the X4 Concept, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
The BMW X4 Concept has been unveiled just a couple of weeks ago, but the model is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of some new official images, which have been released by the German based automaker. The BMW X4 Concept is supposed to be a smaller version of the X6, with a sloping roofline, which is based on the X3. The model is previewing a future production version which will be assembled in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The BMW X4 Concept is getting an aggressive front fascia, with large air intakes, a prominent grille and LED headlights. The model also has some plastic body cladding, a sculpted hood, a new exhaust system, underbody protection on the rear bumper and more. Additional details on the BMW X4 Concept haven’t been released yet by the company but rumors are saying that the final production model will get a 2.0 liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, which is good for 240 BHP (179 kW) and 352 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque, along with a 3.0L inline six-cylinder with 300 BHP (224 kW) and 406 Nm of torque (300 lb-ft).
