New images with the BMW X4 Sports Activity Coupe have been recently released by the German based automaker.
Originally unveiled a couple of months ago and making its public debut during the 2014 New York Auto Show, the brand new BMW X4 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the company releasing more images with it. The BMW X4 is a more expensive version of the X3, with a sportier look, sharing the same platform, interior design and engines with the more conventional SAV. In terms of space, the interior is not quite the same as the X4 has a lowered roofline which is affecting the rear passengers.
The driver and the front passenger are also sitting 20 mm lower in the X4 than in the X3 and the rear bench has been profiled for two passengers. Three petrol engines and three diesels are available for the model in Europe, with outputs ranging between 181 HP and 309 HP, all of them meeting the EU6 exhaust gas standards. The top of the line xDrive35i has a 302 HP and 400 Nm 3.0L six-cylinder engine under its hood, while the range topping diesel is getting 309 HP and 630 Nm of torque from a 3.0L six-cylinder unit. Prices for the model in Germany start at 45,600 euros while in the U.S. it will go on sale this summer, from 45,625 USD.
