BMW X4 production version spied in Germany image

The brand new BMW X4 compact SUV has been recently spotted on the road, near the company’s headquarters, while it was being tested.

The German based automaker BMW is getting ready to introduce the final production version of the X4 next year, in January, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show, in Detroit, but before the model will be ready for its future customers, the company has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should, so the carmaker will continue to test the vehicle even more intensely over the following months.

Rumors are saying that the new BMW X4 will make its market debut with just a few engines, 2- and 3-liter turbocharged, which will probably equip the 28i and the 35i versions. The model pictured below is believed to be the 28i version, because it has two exhaust pipes on the side. A diesel engine, in the popular 20d shape, is also expected on the new BMW X4, along with some M Performance parts. Additional details on the final production version of the BMW X4 are limited for the moment and will be announced in Detroit, next year.
