The upcoming creation which will be wearing the BMW logo on it, the X4 crossover, has recently been rendered.
Even if the German based automaker has officially confirmed the BMW X4 for production, we still don’t have any images with it that is until now, because thanks to autoexpress.co.uk we have a clue on what the model might look like. As you can see from the two images provided by our source, the BMW X4 is coming with some unique lights, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a distinctive grille and the expected X6 roof line, which offer a more athletic rear end.
The upcoming BMW X4 is expected to take on the popular Range Rover Evoque, and the model will share the platform with the X3, but it will be sportier than its brother, just like the X6 is compared to the X5. Rumors say that the BMW X4 will share the engine range with the X3, and the two models will be available with both six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions.
The BMW X4 will also battle the Audi Q6 and the Porsche Cajung models, and the crossover will be manufactured in the United States. Codenamed the F26, the BMW X4 will be made at the Spartanburg plant, in South California, and an X4M version is also expected to hit the market in the nearby future.
