The second generation of the BMW X5 M and X6 M have been launched recently in Australia where the models start from 185,900 AUD and 194,700 AUD, respectively.
Australians in search of high-performance SAVs now have the chance of ordering the brand new BMW X5 M and the X6 M. The first one has been priced from 185,900 AUD while the other one costs 194,700 AUD. Their prices don’t include the on-road costs. BMW isn’t hoping that the new X5 M and X6 M will become hits in the Pacific country considering the fact that in the previous generation, the company has managed to sell approximately 400 units.
Some of the standard features found on the two vehicles include the metallic paint, teleservices, ConnectedDrive Freedom, intelligent emergency call, sat-nav, tire pressure monitor, Harman Kardon audio system, digital TV tuner, DAB tuner, automatic tailgate, electric and heated front seats, Comfort Access, head-up display, parking assistant, adaptive LED headlights with selective beam, driving assistant, electric sunroof, surround view with top view and side view, BMW Individual leather instrument panel, M multifunction seats, 21-inch M light alloy wheels, Dynamic Drive, Dynamic Damper Control and Dynamic Performance Control.
Under their hoods, the same 4.4 liter V8 twin turbo engine is found. This is capable of producing a total output of 423 HP and it has a peak torque of 750 Nm. The unit is connected to an 8-speed sports automatic transmission, which is sending power to the xDrive all-wheel drive system. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the vehicles need just 4.2 seconds. Top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
