BMW X6 facelift teased in Malaysia image

The Malaysian division of BMW has recently teased the facelifted X6 crossover on Facebook, ahead of its official presentation later on this year.

“Guess what??? We have another new model on the way… care to guess which model?”, were the words that captured our attention on the official Facebook page of BMW Malaysia.

The BMW X6 facelift has been announced for the 2012 model year and the mid-size luxury crossover is coming with white corona rings with a flat bottom, similar to the ones found on the new generation of the 3-Series F30. The facelifted BMW X6 is also getting adaptive LED headlamps, LED taillights and an optional engine bonnet with a powerdome. More details on the facelifted BMW X6 in Malaysia will be announced soon.

As a quick reminder, the BMW X6 has been in production since 2008 and the mid-size crossover is being assembled in Greer, South Carolina, United States and in Kaliningrad, Russia. The BMW X6 is being offered in a five-door body style, with a choice of four engines and two transmissions. The 2010 BMW X6 is 4,879 mm long, 1,984 mm wide and 1,689 mm tall. The BMW X6 is based on the BMW X5.
