And it did it in just 8 minutes and 20 seconds according to a recent report.
The range-topping version of the new BMW X6 generation, the X6 M, is the subject of a new report. According to the guys from BimmerToday, the model in question has recently lapped the Ring and it managed to do it in 8 minutes and 20 seconds. Keep in mind that there isn’t anything official on the topic just yet but this seems really plausible.
The new BMW X6 M is instantly recognizable as it is coming with a body kit which is making it look more aggressive and it is also improving its aerodynamics. The model in question has a sportier styling in the cabin too and all versions get the Merino leather sport seats, the leather wrapped M steering wheels with aluminum gearshift paddles, a leather wrapped dashboard, an updated instrument cluster, a four-zone climate control system, Harman Kardon audio and so on.
The most important part of the performance SAV is found under its hood where the 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine is resting. This is capable of putting down no less than 567 HP (423 kW) and a peak torque of 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). The unit is connected to an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, sending power to the M-specific AWD system. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs just 4.2 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
