A new range-topping SUV will be put together soon by BMW and this will be the much anticipated X7.
It seems that Bentley has started a segment of its own with the recently unveiled we are now talking about a BMW X7, which has a pretty good chance of competing with the world’s first ever luxury SUV. The model in question will be larger than the 7-Series, on which it will be based, and it seems that BMW is planning to take inspiration for it from the Vision Future Luxury Concept, which has been introduced last year.
The new BMW X7 will be riding on the same platform of the next 7-Series generation, which will replace the current 35up chassis and will be dubbed the HPLC. This will be making use of a 6.0 liter V12 engine, in its range topping version, but it will also be offered with a six- and with an eight-cylinder unit. The ultra-luxurious version of the BMW X7 will become a rival for the Bentley Bentayga, for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and a possible Mercedes-Maybach SUV. As we’ve mentioned above, the model in question will be drawing inspiration from the Vision Future Luxury Concept, which has been created in order to preview the new 7-Series.
