BMW has officially pulled the wraps off the brand new X4 M40i, which will become available for order soon.
After leaking online just a week ago, the newest addition to the BMW X4 lineup, the X4 M40i, has been finally unveiled. The model in question is the range-topping version in the midsized crossover coupe lineup and it is bringing new accents on the front bumper, a sports exhaust system, Chrome Black tailpipes on both sides of the rear bumper and 20-inch double-spoke M light-alloy wheels.
The brand new vehicle is also bringing other modifications as well, which include the Performance Control upgrade, the xDrive system which has been retuned and it is now providing rear-wheel drive characteristics, a sports suspension system with stronger springs and stabilizers and so on. The sporty design is being continued in the cabin as well where we can find the M gear shift lever, the M leather steering wheel, the X4 M40i lettering on the door sills, the sports seats and more.
The most important part of the crossover is found under its hood, where we can find a 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, capable of producing a total of 360 HP (265 kW) and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the BMW X4 M40i needs just 4.9 seconds and it can go up to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), which has been electronically limited. No pricing details or launch date have been announced on it.
