Bobby Brown’s DUI: ex-husband of Whitney Houston is having ‘difficult time’ image

Bobby Brown, the ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston was released after his arrest Monday, according to police.

A close friend of his ex-wife Whitney Houston says Brown is going through a “difficult time” at the moment.

“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty and Mr. Brown was not driving erratically. He was speaking on his cell phone. Mr. Brown has not been convicted of anything associated with this incident,” Tiffany Feder, Brown’s legal counsel said in a statement.

Officer Tiana Reed told RadarOnline.com: “We observed intoxication once Mr. Brown was pulled over.

“We put him through four sobriety tests, none of which he passed. He was arrested at 12:20 p.m. and booked into the Van Nuys jail.”

TMZ reported that Brown allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or higher while he was driving.

Brown, who was married to Houston from 1992 to 2007, has had numerous run-ins with the law, including arrests for battery, drug possession, drunk driving and parole violations.

The 43-year-old New Edition singer and Houston have a 19-year-old daughter together, Bobbi Kristina.
