Renault has brought its greenest vehicle yet to the 2012 Bologna Motor Show where the model has made its Italian debut.
After pulling the wraps off the brand new the carmaker has unveiled the Renault Zoe, during the same automotive event. The Renault Zoe is getting the R-Link multimedia tablet in the cabin, with a 7-inch touch screen display with speech recognition which is controlling several key functions including the Carminat TomTom Live navigation system, the electric driving guidance or the audio system.
The most important part of the Renault Zoe is found under its hood, where a synchronous electric motor is “living”, producing a total output of 88 HP (65 kW), with a peak torque of 220 Nm (162 lb-ft). This is enough to allow the model to reach a top speed of 84 mph (134 km/h). Prices for the Renault Zoe will start at 14,444 GBP. The Renault Zoe will enter mass production soon and it will be launched across the Old Continent in 2013. Meanwhile, you can check out the model live at the 2012 Bologna Motor Show below.
