Brabus G63 AMG is more powerful than the G65 AMG image

The German based aftermarket specialists at Brabus have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a new upgrade package for the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.

Good news for Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG owners who are now able to order that all-new aftermarket package signed by Brabus, which will transform their vehicle into an exclusive one, which is even more powerful than the more expensive G65 AMG. According to the tuning company, the new upgrade package is adding yellow painted brake calipers, twin-spoke alloy wheels 23-inch in size, rider comfort suspension, valve controlled exhaust system and more.

The most significant change is coming from under the hood, where the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is now able to put down an impressive 620 HP (456 kW) from the standard 544 HP (400 kW). The torque figure of the 5.5 liter V8 bi-turbo engine has also went up by 40 Nm (29 lb-ft) to a total of 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). Unfortunately Brabus didn’t release any performance figures on this upgraded G63 AMG but more details on the model are expected to be announced soon. The 6.0L V12 bi-turbo in the G65 AMG is producing 603 HP and 1,000 Nm of torque (737 lb-ft) and this is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph).
