The German based aftermarket specialists at Brabus have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgraded Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.
According to the tuning company, the modified Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG will be used by the Dubai police force. The model in question has received some interesting updates, including a new name, the B637 – 700 Widestar. The G63 AMG signed by Brabus is now coming with the tuner’s Dynamic Ride Control suspension system, with 23-inch bespoke alloy wheels, with police livery and with some other tweaks, which will make it appreciated in the UAE. The new Brabus B637 – 700 Widestar will be officially presented to the public this week, during the 2013 Dubari Motor Show.
The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, in its new generation, is replacing the old G55 AMG and it’s taking its power from a 5.5 liter twin turbocharged direct injected V8 engine. The total output produced by the unit stands at 536 HP and 561 lb-ft, in standard, while the V8 biturbo engine has now been modified by Brabus to produce 690 HP (700 PS), and this is enough to allow it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 149 mph. More details on the model will be announced during the automotive event.
