Brabus presents 4WD Full Electric E-Class image

The German aftermarket specialists at Brabus are entering the “eco” battle and rather than getting everything out of its V8, V10 or V12 engines, have decided to present to the public their own version of a 4WD Full Electric E-Class.

The system is the “classic” 4wheel-mounted electric motors, each of them with 80 kW and 800 Nm of torque (590 lb-ft) in Sport mode, which combined are delivering 320 kW or 429 horsepower but the torque amount is impressive, 3.200 Nm or 2.360 lb-ft, enabling the saloon to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and giving it a top speed of 220 km/h or 136.7 mph.

With zero CO2 emissions, Brabus says that its High Performance E-Class based 4WD Full Electric system can give the car a range up to 350 km or 217 miles.

But being a Brabus, the exterior design is a “must” and besides its slightly modified body, the car is now sitting on 19 inch wheels, wrapped in high performance tires which can be Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama, in size 245/35 for the front and the back.
