The Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo WIDESTAR has been officially unveiled by the famous tuning company.
Set to make its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, next week, the brand new Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo WIDESTAR has been officially unveiled, over the web at this point. The model in question has been based on the Mercedes G63 AMG and it is now coming with the wide body kit, made out of the extended fender flares, the front spoiler and the ram air hood. The vehicle is also getting the tinted xenon headlights and it is riding on the 23-inch forged alloy wheels, wrapped in Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama tires.
The styling of the powerful updated SUV is being continued in the cabin as well where the Mastik leather seats can now be found, along with the velour floor mats, the Alcantara headliner, the aluminum pedals, the illuminated steel sill plates and so on. The rear passenger compartment now has a multimedia console, iPhone charging dock, power retractable tray tables, integrated refrigerator, USB ports and more. The vehicle is also gaining the 15.6-inch LCD screen, which has been mounted from the headliner.
The Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo WIDESTAR is making use of a 5.5 liter V8 engine which has been modified and it is now displacing 5.9 liters. The unit has new billet connecting rods, a billet crankshaft, new pistons, turbochargers, optimized air intake, exhaust manifolds, stainless steel sports exhaust system and a special ECU. Thanks to these upgrades, it is capable of putting down a total of 838 HP (625 kW) and 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) this needs just 4 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 260 km/h (162 mph).
