A brand new Ferrari California has been recently crashed in New York after its driver fell asleep and drifted off the road.
We have always said here on inautonews.com that where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes and even if this incident has nothing to do with the driver’s skills behind the wheel, we still think that driving powerful cars should only be allowed with a special license. The latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from New York, where a brand new Ferrari California has definitely seen better days.
According to the guys at wreckedexotics.com, the driver of the Ferrari California had owned the Italian supercar for less than two hours when he fell asleep and hit his brand new ride. The Ferrari California had less than 75 miles on the odometer when it was crashed. We actually think that the driver’s ego was hurt even worse than the Italian supercar, but a huge question rises: How can anyone fall asleep in a brand new Ferrari after owning it for just 2 hours? Perhaps the driver was afraid to buy coffee because that might have ruined his seats. Way to go, “sleepy head”!
