Where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes, this is what we’ve always said here on inautonews.com, and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from Thailand, where a Lamborghini Aventador has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at Khaosod, the Italian supercar in question has hit an electric pole. The driver said that his tire blew up, and this was the reason of the crash. He also said that he sustained minor injuries only thanks to his lucky amulet.
As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador is taking its power from a large 6.5 liter V12 engine which is producing a total output of 690 horsepower. The unit is mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission, which is helping the Italian supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph). The Lamborghini Aventador is burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and it’s emitting 398 g/km of CO2.
